Hunt For Vengeance

Intro

When Eva, Viktor’s daughter, was born everything changed. His wife, Dominika, died during childbirth, leaving Viktor to take care of Eva. He left his job in Special Forces behind, to focus on raising his daughter.

14 years later, Viktor and Eva’s life was quiet. They lived in a small house in snowy Siberia, a peaceful and secluded area which allowed Viktor to raise his daughter without interruption. But one night, everything changed. Viktor awoke after a nightmare that took him back to his days in the Special Forces, and something felt terribly wrong. He heard a faint noise, like the sound of breaking glass, and immediately felt his stomach drop. He ran to Eva’s room, flung open her door, only to be greeted by the cold from outside rushing into the room through a broken window, and Eva nowhere in sight. Viktor rushed to the window, but all he could see was faint footprints being covered more and more by snow as seconds went by…
 
There was a note left on her crumpled sheets, that read “You take my family, and I take yours.” Viktor knew that second what this was about, and he also knew that no matter what, he would do whatever it took to get her back… The skills he’d learnt from his time in Spetsnaz, the Russian Special Forces, would be crucial to this, and as he stood in the empty room with that note in his hand, he knew exactly where to start.

Description

Hunt for Vengeance is a 2D action game, where you can either challenge yourself to see how far you can last in the arcade mode, or attempt beating the game by obtaining the revenge Viktor wants in Story Mode (Coming Soon).

Within the arcade mode, you encounter enemies, collect different weaponry to aid you in your adventure, and search for power ups to make you stronger in your hunt for vengeance. Hunt for Vengeance is a 2D Top Down Shooter Game built using Unity. The purpose of the game being created is for AINT 155 Module Project at University.
